Standard and GIANT® HPT cartridges are made from high quality carbon formed in a unique compression process that produces a high quality cartridge with less flow restriction. HPT filters are useful for removal of unpleasant tastes and odors, and are nominally rated at 5 micron. They also reduce chlorine, chemicals, dirt, rust, sediment and silt.
